Yesterday it was a bit colder and there was off-shore wind, so we could sleep longer and relax from the competition. We chilled on the beach and ate some sick sushi. The party was really funny and some guys went really crazy…
Today I got up at 8 o´clock (was not so easy :-D) and I went with Gisela, Alvaro, Karolina, Aaron and some camera men to see some ruines of the Mayas. I was really impressed, because they were already highly developed when we were still living like monkeys in Europe :-D!
After that we did an expression session to show the Mexicans how sick kiteboarding is. You could watch really high double handlepasses, newschool and also board-offs.
In the afternoon was the price giving and now I get my stuff ready for tomorrow. I have to leave early and hopefully I can study on the plane, because I have some important examens next week.
All in all we had a lot of fun and there was some extreme action on the water!!!

Today it was even windier than yesterday, so we started early at 9.30 with the double elimination. The wind was quite onshore and there was a lot of chop. I had to go against Alex Pastor from Tarifa who also had gone out early.
My heat was quite ok, I tried to go more powered and did some nice Mobes. Alex was on fire like in Brazil and landed some sick Mobes, Slim to wrapped, Mobe to wrapped and stuff like that with the kite pretty low. So he climbed up all the way in the doubles and I ended up 17th. It´s not such a great result, but I am quite happy with my action on the water…
The only one doing some really great tricks today was Cesar who landed a Frontmobe 5 and a Blind Judge 5 in a row. He ended up third, losing against Aaron. The final was really close, Aaron doing a lot of switch tricks and Kevin nailing some one-handed things. I thought Kevin won, but the judges anounced Aaron as the winner.
Right after the finals a big lighting came up and it looks like there will be off-shore wind tomorrow. Anyway the contest is finished, so I try get some shots the next days so you can get an impression who sick the colours are here.
Today the wind woke us up and we had the skippers meeting at 9 o´clock. The conditions were a bit shitty….onshore and really choppy. But everything was awesome! Nice glassy water, palm trees everywhere.
My first heat was against Nick Jacobsen. I did pretty good for the choppy water and advandced. In my next I also was quite all right, but today it was unpossible to beat Kevin! He was really on fire and did his nice one-handed tricks - so he won today.
Second was Aaron and third Yori. Let´s see what the double brings!
