Kitesurf-Trophy SPO

lotsofpeople.jpgThe last days on Sylt were awesome! We had nice east wind and could rock every day! Then I stayed half a day at home and went to Fehmarn for some last training sessions.

Today we started the Kitesurf-Trophy in St. Peter but we didn´t have enough wind for the freestyle.

Kitesurf-Trophy Sylt

pricegiving.jpgAt the moment I am spending my time on Germanys richest island Sylt. Last weekend we had the Kitesurf-Trophy here and it was a bit chaotic for me but in the end it all turned out good. On Friday we did some heats in light conditions and Saturday morning the weather changed and we had to ride our heats in strong, gusty winds.

In the final against Stefan I was to lit on my nine so I tried to change to seven. A huge gust came and my father flew away with the kite. (Later I saw it on TV - pretty funny!) Luckyly I could manage a double HP and a Frontmobe blind in the last minute…On Sunday Rick had his day and he came all the way up. He did some huge huge tricks on his 8 that day so I had to ride against him. He did a nice Mobe and some big Loops, but I won that heat with some save tricks like Slim, 313, Flat3…

So I finished first and now I just do some days of vacations with some friends from my hometown. Giving some kite lessions, some party and trying some new tricks….

1st Best Trick

Best Trick - YippiyippiyeahThe Pkra just finished and all in all we had a lot of fun again and we saw sick action on the water! First I did quite ok against Maciek Kozerski and after I was in the with the Spanisch local Danny Rodriguez.

In the end I landed a Richmann (Kiteloop+double backrotation+Handlepass) so I was happy with that one! My heat against Jule I did quite the same and I advanced into the next one. Jule did quite a lot of Switch tricks, but the judges prefered my kite position.
