My flight was pretty hot…and long. But first the local militaries wanted to check my stuff for drugs and searched in all my things. I had to uncoil my kites, then he knocked at my board and in the end he smelled at my foot pads Tuesday I was ill because of the bad food in my hotel on coche and today I had to write an three hour examen. So I am finished for today and will sleep now. At the weekend we, my family and me, will probably go for Denmark. Here some fotos from my nice week over there!

Today I took the boat at 9:30 to be there ready for the comp. The wind wasn´t that strong and I have been super motivated.The second heat of the day, Peter Tyshkevich against me. I was ok on my tlewve and started the heat with the basic passes. Then I managed some switch ones, Kiteloop Hp, double back to wrapped and Mobe to wrapped. Super happy beating Peter I had to go against the light wind machine Alvaro Onieva.In the end I was a little bit to far downwind and couldn´t stick everything - Alvaro was on fire and rode up to the third place.The first final, Kevin vs. Aaron, won Kevin because Aaron had lost his kite right before the heat and had to ride on eleven.The second final started the worldchampion with a nice Frontmobe blind and he managed nearly all his other tricks. Like a lot of switch ones and a Blindjudge 5. So he got it another time. I am super stoked about my result! Tomorrow I will do a little session on Coche and then fly home with Mike Schitzhofer from Austria who got 9th in the comp.http://www.extremeelements.com/live_results – http://www.kiteworldtour.com

We travelled over to el Yaque pretty early this morning to do our best in the Doubles. The wind wasn´t that strong so we had to wait some ours. At 12:30 I had my first heat, against the Kpwt Worldchampion Sebastian Garat. Until the very last minute it was super close but then I changed to my 12 meter Vegas and could land a Frontmobe blind with the horn. The next one was Madison Van Heurck who is also a really good light wind rider. I had my best heat of the day, landing some switch tricks, Frontmobe blind, double S-Bend pass, doubles back pass, Kiteloop Slim…. My last heat of today was against Mike Blomvall. We both hadn´t our best heat, but in the beginning I had some powered tricks and also managed this one. Now I am super happy and go to sleep. Tomorrow I will need all my strength and maybe more to beat the Russian Peter Tyshkevich.

Finishing the Singles

In the morning we could chill a little bit because they had to finish the last rounds of the Single Elimination. We took the boat at 11:30 and then watched some hot action on the water! It was pretty choppy and in the beginning perfect for nine meter kites. Kevin and Aaron did the most impresive final I have ever seen! Kevin nailed a Frontmobe 5, Mobe 7, Blindjudge 5 and a Kiteloop double Handlepass! Aaron did nearly the same and some more switch moves - so he won the singles. Alex Pastor became third and Cesar Portas fourth. Then they tried the first round of the Doubles, Pile had bad luck again and had to ride his heat in off shore wind, underpowerd with 13…Tomorrow they go on with the second round and I have to go against the Kpwt Champion Sebastian Garat. Let´s hope that I´ll have a great heat again!

First rounds of the Singles

Today we started with the main event on Coche. It was so hot that you nearly couldn´t move at the beach! Waking up I started with some stretching and then went for the drawing. First I had to go aigainst Maciek Kozerski from Poland. The nine meter Vegas was quite good so I could win that heat. I wasn´t to lucky with that heat and really wanted to nail it in the second one. Unfortunately I had to go against Kevin Langree again. However I didn´t win this one but I am pretty happy about my show on the water. In the last minutes I landed a double S-bend pass, double back spin pass, Frontmobe blind, 313 Grab… All the time you could watch some hot action on the water and tomorrow it goes on with the end of the singles in El Yaque. Aaron had a quite nice heat with an 313 pass and Pile “the machine” had bad luck - he really rocked his heat but the judges decided against him… Now I am going to bed and catch some strength for the Doubles.

First day – perfect conditions and jellyfishes

Venezuela :-D" height="150" width="200" />Yesterday I started my trip early in the morning in Hamburg and in Frankfurt I already met a lot of people riding the tour. The flight was quite long and the worst was that I had to sit next to an alcoholic. He drank around eight bears and started shaking all the time. First I was angry but in the end I felt pretty sorry for him…From Isla Magarita I had to take a small boat. It was super dark and windy and I have been the only passenger. We nearly sank because the crazy couldn’t see anything an went at full throttle! In the end it all turned out well and I reached the hotel.Today I had an early session and in the afternoon we all ripped together. It was pretty gusty but that doesn’t matter when you have the flattest water! The water has around 26 degrees and is full of jellyfishes! I crashed so much in these horrible animals that my arms and legs are completely red and burn like fire. The poor Karolina crashed into one with her face…Tomorrow I will do a short session to safe force for the first competition day on Wednesday. Apart from the burned skin we all have great fun here!

Venezuela part 3

If been at home for three weeks now and I really feel my desire to leave the cold Germany again. School was really fun but also a lot of work, because I still miss some lessons…so I was learning quite much. I have been out some days with gloves and all the stuff you need, but anyway my father and me had great fun on the Baltic Sea.
On Sunday I finally leave to Coche, Venezuela - yippiyippiyeah! . All over the week I will stay on Coche and I will ferry across the river when the competitions takes places in El Yaque. Let´s see how it goes there!

Mobe to Beach :-D

Hey! Last weekend we came back from Tarifa. The last days were really funny, we went out a lot and it was good weather. We made a little stop in Cabopino, next to Malaga, where we had a really great session. I were out on my twelve with my sister and my dad behind the habour. I could to some tricks and then I had to stay three days in the caravan… I read a whole book and I could take a little rest for school which I really requiered! We have some cathy tests now, so yesterday I had to leran all day long. My dad and me went to St. Peter but the only thing we found were gusty wind and rain…. Hopefully the next days! I just made a little clib of a Mobe to wrapped with an not so happy ending

Caños, Tarifa, Sancti Pedri

The last week we have been travelling a lot at the cost here. My family and me have been to Sancti Pedri and then to Canos de Mekka, where we found some flat water and also some waves. My mom did some shots and my dad tried to destroy the waves with his new rocket fish! Yesterday I did an upwinder with Dzevad to a windsurf competition and we showed them what it means to jump high and the I did downwinder with my sister and some friends from Flensburg. It was great fun to rip the waves and do some freestyle in between. Today it´s not so windy and I am going to visit my old class now and see some funny friends. Tomorrow will be good at the island and then there comes some storm…

Tarifa

Since three days I am in Europes kite capital again. Arriving at the airport we noted that we had to go in one small car with five people and ten bags…. The next was really good in the town with light levante. Some sick flat water and really funny people. Yesterday was quite all right, but a bit to crowded. Hopefully we will get smoth light and wind today, so we (my dad and me) can get some nice shots!
