After the competition I stayed 3 days more in the capital of wind and we did some photos with the whole team. It was great fun and we got a lot of great shots! On wednesday in the morning I went from Tarifa to Fuerteventura to film some action over here. We are driving around in the north trying to find the best spot. In the morning we always have to get up at 6 o´clock because then we have the best light and good wind. 1st Best Trick

The Pkra just finished and all in all we had a lot of fun again and we saw sick action on the water! On friday we didn´t had wind so it was just chilling at the beach and playing PS3. The next day the wind came back again and I wanted to clim up in the Doubles. First I did quite ok against Maciek Kozerski and after I was in the with the Spanisch local Danny Rodriguez. In the end I landed a Richmann (Kiteloop+double backrotation+Handlepass) so I was happy with that one! My heat against Jule I did quite the same and I advanced into the next one. Jule did quite a lot of Switch tricks, but the judges prefered my kite position. Last but not least the worldchampion throw me out. I did quite ok: normal passes, switch, Kiteloop HP and double pack pass. So in the Freestyle I finished 9th. Aaron ripped in all his heats and came up to the finals!

The last heats were on Sunday with 9 meter kites. Aaron did a really nice megaloop unhook HP and in the final it all seemed that he would win. Then Kevin nailed the sickest kiteloop 7 - so he is now first in the ranking.

Later that day they decided to start a best trick contest, judged on height and diffuculty. In the first heat I landed a Kungfu pass to blind so i won that one. The next 7 minutes I had to do a good move against Aaron, Mike, Alvaro and some others In the last minute I did my first Kungfu double pass, so also got that won. In the final the wind came already over the mountain and I changed from 10 to 12 meter. In the end I got a gust and did a really high Kungfu pass and while riding out agian I just heard the crowd screaming another time while Kevin did a sick double pass. Actually he couldn´t land it….so first in best trick!!!!

Hey everybody! Today was no wind, so I could cut a little video from Tuesday. Yesterday we started with the singles and I had to go against Mike Blomvall. I was ok on my nine and could nail a lot of tricks like Double back pass, Frontmobe 5 and some switch. Anyway Mike also had a good day so I lost… Later on he threw out Aaron, so actually he was on fire! Kevin could win the Singles and Alvaro came second. Later that day we started with the Doubles and I had another good round. This one I could win on power against Maciek Kozerski. Let´s see how fare I can get tomorrow!

First day Pkra Tarifa

Since saturday me and my dad are in Tarifa and we had already some really nice sessions! The first days we went to Canos de Mekka and yesterday we were out just in front of our apartment in Valdevaqueros.

Today the first day of the competition started. Everybody is still tired because of the journey from Cabarete, so it´s pretty relaxed right now.

At the moment I am sitting here with Rick and we are waiting for some wind. For sure there will be some soon. Let´s see how the drawing is!

Seat Kitesurf-Trophy in Weissenhaus

Last weekend the second stop of the German tour took place in the small village at the Baltic Sea. Friday we had some wind, but it was pretty gusty and we used kites between 9 and 14 meters. Again we had the same final as last year, Stefan Permien and me. It was pretty close and we all looked forward to the pricegiving on sunday. Saturday and Sunday it was nearly windless and we went for modelplanes again. At the pricegiving it was the other way round and Stefan won the final. Congratulations! On monday I had an examen again and also passed the theoretic test of the driving license. Friday night my dad and me will go to Tarifa for the next PKRA. More Pics!

Modellplane action and St. Peter

Yesterday we wanted to try our little planes again. After it broke totally in Tarifa I repared my one and we also found an old one in my friend´s cellar. Finally we found a good field, but unfortunatley we didn´t look for the cows… After doing some loops it crashed again Then we tried to catch it but the cows came hunting us! We ran for our lifes! After a while we weren´t so interesting any more, so they took a look at the plane. It didn´t taste so good….so we could have it back, with some bites in it!

Some days at home

The last two weeks I spent together with my family at home or at Fehmarn. I had some examens in school so I had to learn quiete a lot. There´s is only one left untill the holidays, so I am nearly done this year. Last weekend we were at Fehmarn and had some pretty nice sessions! This weekend we first went to St. Peter and the next day all the way to Fehmarn again. It was good for tweleve and I taught my father som sbends to blind. Tomorrow we will get some west winds and at the weekend the next Kitesurf-Trophy takes place.

The last days in Fuerte were super nice! We went to another spot in the north with nice kickers and some flat water some meters behind! We nailed down some freestyle and Jaime did some awesome tricks with the strapless Freestyle Fish.During the week I was learning quite a lot for school and enjoyed the my sister´s big trampoline! We placed a bar and could do some funny things The neighbours think that I am completely out of order now!

First time Canary Islands

At the moment I am spending my time at Fuerteventura and we are doing a North Foto Shoot. Since Thursday I live with Jeremie, Jaime, Angela, Soufiane and Cesar in a nice house and every day we try do get some awesome fotos. The first day we went to a lagoon in the north and after freestyling we watched Jaime, Soufian and Jeremie testing the new Rocket Fish in two meter tubes. Friday we did some footage at flagbeach and yesterday we went to Lobos, a small island. The cameraman rented a boat and we went by kite to the small island in the north. After kiting some hours around the boat we entered the volcano island. Nobody was living there so we could do as much nonsense as we liked On the way back - which was pretty wavy - we did fotos of the new soft good collection. Now we are hanging around, doing interviews and at 3 o´clock the water is high enough so we can give 110 percent on the lagoon. Rocking the new stuff!

Seat Kitesurf-Trophy in Dahme

This weekend the first stop of the Seat Kitesurf-Trophy took place in Dahme at the Baltic Sea. The weather forecast didn’t look so great but quite a lot of people came to hang around together, to party and to hope for some good sessions. On Friday we had nice weather and ate some great barbecue! On Saturday it was raining quite a lot and we all spent the day in the swimming pool and the party started earlier… We had a mega phone to announce it for the whole city - so it ended up really really funny! Today the sun woke us up and we chilled at the beach. Then at midday some light wind came so the judges decided to start a fun contest - best trick. Stefan Permien and me started a Swatch-North-Team so we will show our tricks on some Swatch branded Vegas now. Today we could show some tricks like Frontmobe blind and some Boshmosis. In the end I won with a powered Slimchance, because the judges preferred the powered performance. Anika Selin could convince at the girls and Tim Kummerfeld could satisfy the judges with a nice back to blind at the juniors.All in all it was a really funny weekend with nice people, good party and a nice session at the water. –> See all pics
