Yesterday the Seat Kitesurf-Worldcup started on the German island Sylt. For this first Kpwt event there were over 70 registrations and riders from twenty nations! I arrived with my parents and my sister on friday and we already had some great sessions…
Tuesday we had perfect wind for my ten meter Vegas and the sun was shining all day long, so we started with the Freestyle.Luckily there was a wildcard for me and there was enough time to prepare myself…
I had to go against Judic from France and after that against the wave world champion Jose Luengo. My next heat was against Ariel from France who did a nice show, doing some high jumps made me win that one as well! In the semifinal I had a really really close heat with Peter Tyskevich from Russia who beat the worlchamp Jesse Richman before. Meanwhile Stefan Permien won all his heats as well and Leander has been knocked out.
So it was a German final at this worldcup and in another super close heat I won the singles - stoked!
Today there was some racing going on and my dad had a lot of fun out there. We were chilling in the North whirlpool!
Hopefully I can keep my position in the doubles!!!
