After the comp in France I decided to drive home with some friends to enjoy the good weather and perfect east winds at home! Arriving at home me and my best friend just put all the gear into the car and went to Fehmarn. We had some awesome days, spending every day on the water.
We also had some new model planes chilled in the local bar “Cafe im Hof” which is a must go on the island!

After a bad start in the singels I had a good run today! We had plenty of time because they finished the singles this morning and then right after (with sunshine and normal tempreatures!) the doubles started. My first one was against Danny Rodriguez and the next against Sam Light from England. The wind was still gusty but perfect for my 7 Vegas so were super happy with the tricks I did.
Fighting for 7th place I had to go for Peter Tyushkevich from Russia. The heat was super close but with some switch and a double S bend pass I could nail it. In the last heat it was me against Sebastian Garat, in this one I did some powered moves but in the end there wasn´t enough power left in my arms.
The sensation in this event was Youri Zoon who went straight to second place after a super long injury! He showed some very sick stuff - everything in full speed! Aaron started his season solid as always. Some mega loops combined with handlepasses and a lot powered wakestyle. In his final today he first landed a real tantrum to blind a la wakeboard!
So stoked about my 7th place - let´s see what happens next in France!
In the singles we had super strong wind and a lot of rain…it came off shore so it was super gusty. In my first heat I have been on my 5 meter Vegas and I could nail some tricks. Suddenly Vincent Toger who was in my heat had a really bad crash. It looked really bad - every blood in the face… Hope you can kite again soon!!!
In my next one it took me against Tom Hebert. After doing a 313 and a Blindjudje3 my leash broke and my kite went off to Italy.
