Heey! Here you find the pictures taken in W.A. It was definately one of the coolest trips I´ve done so far! In the big river mouth I´ve been watching a shark and as you can see we came super close to the kangaroos. Also the kitespots are sick all the way on the coast line…
Now I will stay at home for some weeks, but I will try to stay fit and will do some sport here in the cold. On the weekend me and my friends will go snowboarding for the first time!
The last five days I have been spending in the south - roadtripping with Tobi Hoelter. First we went to Yellingup, we had a sick session in front of the mountain - riding the reefbreak and doing some passes in between the beachbreak…
Next stop was Augasta, the flat water river mouth, where we nailed some nice tricks. After kiting for three hours alone in the river I saw two fins comming up 40m in front of me - you know that the sharks are there, but seeing it scared me a lot! (Some days a diver has been eaten near Perth..)
The nights we spent in National Parks, Tobi sleeping on the roof and me trying to rest in the inside…
We saw lot´s of Kangaroo´s and other sick animals, we climbed a 75m high tree and went into some insane caves!
On our tour back we went out in Margaret River, there we met Ski Skolbach, Dru and Gabi Steindl smashing the 4 meter high waves…another awesome session.
Mandurah was our last stop, having some more flat water hours lit on our nines.
Next days we will go out in Woodies again getting some rest from the instant food and then on Monday school calls again. Some fotos will come soon…
All in all I am having a really really good time here - definitely need to come back!
