Canada - a bit different than I expected

Since Sunday I am in Canada now. The journey was pretty exhausting, because our flight was delayed and then we had to stay 6 hours in Halifax beacause the shuttle didn´t arrive. So after staying 25 hours awake I realised that I won´t need my winter jacktet a mit 5,5 mm wetsuit -  you can run around wearing a T-shirt.

All the rest here is pretty american and most of the people are really friendly. For example if you cross the road, the cars will stop 100m before you…

The wind was pretty light, but I had a good first heat doing double back pass, doubles S bend pass, switch…and in my second against Kevin I was also pretty happy. Unluckily the wind dropped so in the end we both couldn´t show everything.

Nearly got him with a 2/3 decission of the judjes.Yesterday it was more gusty but I could ride perfect on my 12, so I won my heat against Peter Tyskevich. After that we all went to a hypnotist show - which was suuuuper fun because Chris Tronolone did his own show there…

Today there was hardly no wind…but me and Schitzi went out and tried some tricks. If there is wind tomorrow I will be in one heat with my team mate Reno Romeu. Let´s see how it goes on!

Holidays end now…

Avaro, Jo and the other half spanish guy :-DMy last week of the holidays was really nice! The Pkra in Germany was the biggest I have ever seen! We had concerts, BMX´er, Skateboarder, Dj´s, Boxer and a lot of other action beside all the kiting!

The last days we got some sun and we could ride another Boardercross. Super funny! Kevin won it and Rick and me got 5th. Also the racers had a lot of work, because they did 12 races!

The party were really good and we all danced to electric music. All the 17 German were happy to be in the comp and we showed that our country is pushing the sport a lot! Yeah and all in all I am stoked about my 5th place!

Thanks to everybody for organizing such an amazing event!  More Pictures
