We travelled over to el Yaque pretty early this morning to do our best in the Doubles. The wind wasn´t that strong so we had to wait some ours. At 12:30 I had my first heat, against the Kpwt Worldchampion Sebastian Garat.
Until the very last minute it was super close but then I changed to my 12 meter Vegas and could land a Frontmobe blind with the horn. The next one was Madison Van Heurck who is also a really good light wind rider. I had my best heat of the day, landing some switch tricks, Frontmobe blind, double S-Bend pass, doubles back pass, Kiteloop Slim….
My last heat of today was against Mike Blomvall. We both hadn´t our best heat, but in the beginning I had some powered tricks and also managed this one. Now I am super happy and go to sleep. Tomorrow I will need all my strength and maybe more to beat the Russian Peter Tyshkevich.
