Today was the first day of the competition and in the morning we woke up in some incredible heat. It was so hot that you didn´t want to move… First they did the drawing and I am up against Nick Jacobs from Denmark. If I pass that one I will be up against Kevin, so let´s see. There was barely no wind so we did some
free sessions and they started a couple of races. Hanging around all day long in that sun I drank around 6 liters… No we are going to get some healthy food, which is pretty hard between all these Mc Donalds and Burgerkings. Tomorrow there will be wind - so there we will see some nice action!!!

After a long flight and 32 hours a wake I finally arrived in Cancun/Mexico. Until Atlanta it was all pretty funny, I saw a couple of movies and could see even the skyscrapers of New York! In Atlanta I had to change the plane and nearly lost it, because the USA wants a fingerprint and fotos of everybody… The first night I stayed with Pile “the king” in a really small, dirty apartment. But I just felt a sleep and couldn´t remark all that little animals running around 
The wind was ligth today, so everybody went out on 12 or 14 meters. It´s quite choppy but the water is really glassy and blue. Playa del Carmen, the city we are staying, is really touristically and full of americans who want to spend all their money.
Nearly everybody arrived allready so we will all have a lot of fun the next days!!! Let´s see how the
competition is going!
